A grandfather was walking through his garden. He heard the faint sound of his granddaughter’s voice. As he got closer to her, to his surprise, she was saying the alphabet. A, B, C, D. He listened for a moment, realizing the tone of her voice sounded like she was praying. He became very quite and let her finish; U, V, W, X, Y and Z, Amen. He smiled, reached down and picked her up. Looking into her innocent face he said, “Whatever are you doing?” She looked at him and said, “I’m praying, but I can’t think of the right words. So I’m just saying all the letters of the alphabet. God can put them all together for me. Grandma told me God always knows what I’m thinking. “
When you are at your weakest point, and no words can be said, all you have to offer are tears. Never forget God hears all you are saying. He collected every letter of the alphabet, he collects all your tears.
Psalm 56:8 You keep track of all my sorrow. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.
God is listening,
