Could Webster be wrong?

God has blessed us all with wonderful children and grandchildren.  With these blessings comes  worry.  You imagine all the problems in life come when you are raising children not when they are grown.  After all, you have tried your best to raise them to make the right decisions. You have taught them of all God’s amazing glory and the plans He has for each one of us.    You’ve taught them about all of His blessings, beyond what anyone can imagine.  Just when you think you have done the very best you can and it looks as if all of your labors were listened too and worry is nowhere to be found………….BOOM!

I once heard, “God’s timing is perfection, satan’s timing is strategic.”   Satan knows to attack when you are most comfortable, or at your weakest point and  your guard is down.  What you thought of as perfect comes crashing down at your feet.  You stand looking at the pieces wondering how God will ever put this back together. You feel this precious angel that  you have been given, has made a decision that has sat their life journey on to a road of destruction.

Webster Dictionary defines  destruction: the action or process of causing so much damage to something that it no longer exists or cannot be repaired.  Really??  No longer exists or cannot be repaired?  Yet standing in front of you is this precious angel, so existence is there and every problem so far in their life God has repaired.

Biblical definition of Destruction:  this word translates over 30 Hebrew words in the Old Testament, and 4 words in the New Testament. Of these the most interesting, as having a technical sense, is ‘abhaddon (from verb ‘abhadh, ”  to be lost).  TO BE LOST, YES!!  This precious angel has just lost their way.  You realize, Webster is WRONG.  They are not pushed out of existence and certainly not beyond repair.   They have just taken a wrong path in their life’s journey and gotten lost.

Then comes the question, “What do I do to show them the path they should be on?”   God expects you to show kindness,  love and caring. But most of all pray without ceasing.  Which in return shows the path that should be taken and an U-TURN will be made in God’s perfect timing.

God will take this (according to Webster)  destruction and put it back into existence and repairs it.  He will show this precious angel the right path to take, and no longer will they be LOST.

God’s timing is perfection!! So we continue to PRAY, stay in FAITH and wait with LOVE on God’s perfect timing, always  remembering all glory goes to God.

Isaiah 40:31 but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

God’s blessings for your family,
