DSC_1128Cut Flower Recipe

1 Cup of lemon-lime soda (no diet ones)

1/4 teaspoon of household bleach

3 Cups of warm water (around 110 F)

Mix this up and pour into your vase.

Pull off any leaves that will be underwater.

Hold stems under warm running water and cut stems at an angle about 1 inch from the bottom. Then put flowers in vase.

Next, secret step to pretty cut flowers is to put it in the fridge for an hour or two! Just make sure it isn’t below 35 F. Also make sure flowers are away from any fruits and veggies while in the fridge.

Now move your flowers to a place out of direct sunlight and any warm or cold drafts.

You may add fresh water mix as the water goes down and change it out completely every two to three days.
