WELCOME TO LAVENDER & ARMOUR
We are two Texas girls, with a life story being written by God. Each day is a new chapter. We live in Peace, knowing his presence guides us through this journey. We remain in Faith knowing His presence will protect us from things seen and unseen. Even though our journey in life has knocked us down, we rise up and stand firm in His Word. We are devoted, strong-minded, strong-willed, unbending by His Grace and Mercy. Each chapter in our lives bring hope and love. Knowing this gives us courage to say, WE ARE A CHILD OF GOD.
The smell of Lavender brings a relaxing calming presence over life. Reminding us that God will always keep us at peace.
Lavender’s history has biblical roots. It is referred to as Spikenard or Nard in the Bible. Jesus was anointed with nard. John 12:3 Mary therefore took a pound of expensive ointment made from pure nard, and anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped His feet with her hair. The house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.
Creation began with light. The seven colors of the rainbow radiate the glory of His creation. Every color of the spectrum of visible light reveals the splendor of Christ. Colors of the Bible have symbolic significance that show us visual signs of God’s plan.
Lavender represents: Standing in His Presence
Exodus 33:14 And He said, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”

Ephesians 6:10-20 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. 11: Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12: For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13: Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. 14: Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15: and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. 16: In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; 17: and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, 18: praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, 19: and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, 20: for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.
God’s peace and protection,
